Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons is the official national society of Nepal. The neurosurgical body consist of young as well as eminent neurosurgeons from all over Nepal.

NESON came into existence from 2008 and have been conducting different CME and promoting young surgeons an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skill. As a first venture it is hosting the 5th South Asian Neurosurgery Congress. It is publishing its own journal twice (two issue) a year.

This website represents the full range of activities of the Society and shall be frequently updated to give you the latest on the neurosurgical scene in Nepal. The regular CME of NESON is done six times annually. Outside Kathmandu it is conducted at Biratnagar, Bharatpur, Pokhara which are major cities of Nepal and Neurosurgical services are available. There are about 30 members at present including associated ones.
